I like incredibly high heels. I will wear runners when working out. There is no in-between…until now. I FINALLY found a good mid-height heel and they only cost €20.oo in Penneys!! I am quite short so never thought I’d get away with the calf situation on a sock/shoe/boot situation such as this, but these are surprisingly flattering and comfortable.
I am also utterly smitten with this grey leather clutch from Zara - €10.00 in the sale!! How good is that - in fact, Zara is pretty much amazing right now, fantastic A/W and an actually decent sale. (Thanks to my lovely friend D who got the bag for me as a little treat.. x)

I feel like there should be a disclaimer attached to those shoes; because let me tell you, they’re not a friend to someone with big calves! But they are amazing - and nice bag. Must mosey on down to Zara and have a look. . .
You know what else should come with a disclaimer in Penneys? Their skinny jeans. The most unflattering yokes in the world!

I agree on anything Penney’s on your legs, the leggings the jeans the trousers the shorts. I think they’re all so ill fitting. I envy you suiting them Ali - I wish I did i’d buy them all!

Penneys skinny jeans, funnily enough, do fit me - as do their jeggings, which I’m now living in, and loving, despite my hatred for them only a wet week ago. You can have the shoes, I’ll have the jeans, so it works out!

Rosemary I have sh*t calves/ankles and so avoided this shape until a while ago when I fell in love with a coral pair from Zara which I found actually disguised my crappy f-ankles. I’m loving these too!
