It’s that time of the week again! This week, I’ve gone for a more vibrant collection than usual, red and orange and blue tones. Not sure if I can take all the colour on the site, think it’s back to the pale or dark tones next week.
The last image is by artist Greg Gossel. The rest of the images have been picked up along the way, via sites like ffffound and etc…if you’ve got some time to kill and want to get lost in a land of pretty or interesting images, visit both those sites - brilliant.
An exciting couple of days - so a few quick gratitudes..!
Grazia
Met up with the Grazia Stylehunters yesterday evening (with thanks to Arsheen at Fashion Filosofyand Annmarie at I Blog Fashion), and the lovely Hannah from Grazia was on Ireland AM this morning, and showed my photo - that was a thrill! Watch it >here< if you like! x

Irish Examiner with Annmarie O’Connor
Annmarie O’Connor featured me in her Fashionista Files in the Irish Examiner on Saturday, I was away at the Electric Picnic that day, so here’s just a BAD photo I took of the page (please accept is as proof..!) Once I get the image and the interview, I’ll post them here.. A huge thank you to Annmarie, she has been a fantastic supporter, not just of this blog, but of any new fashion bloggers in Ireland. I would also HIGHLY recommend you buy the Irish Examiner on a Saturday, the magazine that comes with it is brilliant!

Irish Web Awards
Three websites I was involved in have been nominated for an Irish Web Award..! A huuuge thank you to those who niminated, hopefully they’ll make the final list so fingers crossed…!
A clean and fresh post from the inspiring blog ‘Desire to Inspire‘, featuring a modernist apartment in France. I am in love with the folowing : The couch. The lightbox art work. The dining chairs. The stunning parquet flooring. The light and space. The fact that it’s in France. *sigh*
I haven’t got a lot of photos yet from EP, but no doubt more to come, I didn’t bring a camera with me so relying on the others!
I don’t really know what’s going in the top photo but I imagine my state of mind is still on the random planet that is the Electric Picnic. What a fantastic weekend…. MGMT, Orbital, Marina & The Diamonds, Billy Bragg, Brian Wilson, Chic, 2 Many DJs, Simian Mobile Disco, Florence & The Machine, Fleet Foxes, Passion Pitt (**BEST GIG**) and The Flaming Lips…
Hair by Joan in Anna Danielle’s again - she’s just great! The static in the tent however, meant it went from ‘Krusty the Klown Goes Ghetto’ on Thursday (bottom picture) to fairly tame (top picture), but it was still the best, low maintenance hairstyle for the weekend. Oh and I got the big shoulder padded 80’s style top in Oxfam for 7 euro, I have no intention of ever wearing anything ever again!
With all the best intentions, I missed meeting Pa and am gutted!… Next year , we’ll make it a mission.
x Blanaid
Below…’Passion Pit’ - best gig at E.P in my humble opinion..
Love this poster from the fantastic online store ‘Three Potato Four’. It’s just such a fantastic illustration, and would look great in either a child’s room or a modernist living room. Perfecto!
A selection of images of stuff I’d like to wear at Electric Picnic from blogs such as etc, le-fashion, elle and studded hearts - I’ll link them all when I get back this evening/tomorrow.
I’ve decided to go mental at this year’s Electric Picnic. Afro - gold sequins - panther t-shirt from Pa - over the knee boots - red eyeshadow - gothic leggings - blazers….simply because I was just thinking… (prepare thyself..>) we all wait and wait for opportunities to go demented, to play dress up, and then we can chicken out at the last minute. Forget that….I’m going make an effort this year. I draw the line at fairy wings though.
