I think it’s positively lovely. The use of typography and line flow so nicely and the whimsical type choice guides you through it all. The emphasis on the long relationship in relevance with the long courtship is perfect. I love it.

  2. This is a beautiful, and inspirational unique wedding design invitation. I wonder what kind of quality card stock paper it was printed on? On a side note, I hope Jill & Matt are living happily ever after in New York City.

This is so awesome! I love it, at first I was worried it was going to be a anti-LDR thing. But it was amazing <3 in a LDR myself, anything can work.

While it is a beautiful wedding invitation, I can’t help but notice how much it detracts from the day of the actual bride. It’s a story that enthrals and entices (which are great qualities) but left me sort of stunned, thinking “It was about their child?”
It should have been a story about their child finding love…or their wedding invitation…

    Otherwise it was flawless.

  7. JayBee says:

Gerarde, what are you talking about? This wedding invitation has nothing to do with children. The only thing it says is that the parents of the bride and groom want you to attend their children’s wedding. And it has everything todo with them loving each other. Make sure you read and understand something before you post.

Amazing invitation! Just like a comics, where you can get the whole picture of their relationships and how they worked it out! Very talented work, I wish I could think of something like that when I was getting married!

  9. Casey says:

  10. Very ironic and well designed invitation : )

Gross Wilmington DE. Why?! I lived there for almost 19 years and it’s horrible! NYC would have been much better, although I do love the invitation

It’s almost like an infographic. I think I’d have to take the decision to design my own invitation - it’s the only way to guarantee that what you send out is original and special. Thanks for sharing Blanaid.

  22. Dad says:

Very nice, though I think the groom’s name should have the same weight/scale as the bride’s…especially since both parents are inviting guests to the wedding and they’re set up as “equals”

  23. that is so adorable!! love it, love it!!!

  24. Linsi says:

This is adorable! Not only is it visually captivating, but completely strangers can read it and know their story (which is a great one). Depending on how large the wedding, there are probably a lot of people who wouldn’t exactly know how it all happened. This is a great way to bring all the guests into their lives. And I love the typography!
