I have no excuses for this outfit- it’s mental. But I’m determined to make men’s tracksuit bottoms from Penneys, cut up into shorts, somewhat acceptable. Are you with me? Eh…no?

Okay I know it’s a bit beyond, but I think these are my favourite shots from the shoot with Ciuin Tracey…so had to post them. Thanks again so much to her, add her on facebook here ! >

I used some photoshop actions downloaded from deviant art to create the coloured lighting effect, I’d highly recommended them. They are the ‘50 postwork photoshop actions by Manicho.’ I started with ‘Extreme Vintage 1′, then added ‘Contrast desat 1′. Two clicks, as easy as that!

Vest : H&M

Shorts : Penneys

Belt : River Island

Corsage : Penneys

Socks : Penneys tights cut up

Shoes : Gil Carvelho for Faith.

acceptable?.. let me tell you something, from a “straight guy point of view”.. well.. you are lucky you are so far away from Madrid, because I kill to see those in person. From a “straight guy who, gess what? likes fashion point of view” :) , well… I think they should remain in the gym or maybe..just maybe.. dressing them with a sleeveless white shirt and some nice flat sole trainers could look nice.. I dont know.. I am sure you are able to come out with something so nice I will have to eat up all I wrote… what you thing? :)

Favourite shoot from Ciuin Tracey! I love the vintage-y feel from the camera! Sorry for the weird question - but do you have eyelash extensions on? kinda obsessed with getting them done lately

Thanks Ams! Let m tell you, good lighting helps the old figure pretty well! :) x

Paul - yes, I’m in/styling the shoot and Ciuin is photographing it! Is that cleared up? I think that’s what you meant, but I’m a bit confused! :) I agree with you about more cover on the top, I think I’ll wear them with a man’s shirt in real life! x

Thanks Sinead! No they’re regular fake eye lashes, I think those ones are eyelure? I cut them in half and just use them on the outer edge of the eye, I think they’re more flattering like that…

I would like eyelash extensions though, save a lot of bleedin’ hassle!

Oh and Sinead, I actually created the vintage feel in photoshop - do you have photoshop? I can show you how to do it, it’s simples! x

  10. blanaid says:

Ah thanks La Bets! You’re very kind - will we give it a go and take photos? Next drunken night out… ;)

I see.. sorry.. it was too late and I was too tired…. and I got confused about who was the one in the picture, who took the picture, etc, but after this and speaking with Ciuin, all solved!, :)
