Just a quick  post to say a huge thank you to House and Home magazine for including me in their ‘Hot 100 People, Places and Products’ in this month’s edition, out now. I genuinely love this magazine, so it was a complete honour and thrill to be in this issue….

Also, I hate false modesty, so please believe me when I say it was quite shocking and humbling to be placed amongst these very talented people, such as Abigail Ahern, Jonathan Legge from A Shop, designer Danielle MacInnes and so many more.  Just a huge thrill. I know I’ve used that word already, but forgive me, that’s just what it is..! It’s also a great resource list for any of you design enthusiasts or DIYers out there, so do take a looksee!

Also, I want to thank Zita from Homebug.net who asked me to be on the panel for the ‘Irish Bloggers Guide to Interiors’ in the same issue of House & Home. Appearing once in the magazine was, yes, go on, a thrill, but twice? Holy moly. She wrote a lovely intro that was quite flattering, and a brilliant article. If you’re not familiar with her site, you really, really should be..she is without doubt the best interiors blogger in Ireland, and her personal style is much to be coveted.  She also kindly recommended me to the readers of one of my favourite international interiors blogs > SF Girl By Bay, so a huge thank you to her for that as well. 

While I’m on my thank you roll, a massive thank you to another favourite site of mine > Desire to Inspire for including me in their Holiday Reading Guide. I wish I could explain how amazing it is to see your little blog appear on a blog that you’ve admired for ages, it’s just…yeah you get it… : )

And finally, a huge thank you to Cathy from the Style Strutter for my first ever blog award…I’m most honoured! 

Anyway, that’s my news! I’m off to walk around the house muttering ‘thrill! thrill!’ ’til I get slapped.
