I think my most favourite people in the world are those who make sure that no-one at the party is being ignored - who’ll leave a group conversation to go over and talk to someone who may be sitting on their own and feeling awkward.
Then there are people who will decide to buy you something just because. Just because they want to make your day special, or make you smile. So they ask your friend what shoe size you are and they go in to town, and walk in to Topshop, and buy you the shoes that you have long lusted after and present them to you at the start of an evening out…just because.
Just because you are most lovely and I am most lucky indeed.

…in those moments, when you never believe you can be so pleasantly surprised by life again, when you are planning an escape because your current moment is crawling over your mind and all is dark - when someone tells you in that moment that you will feel better, believe them. Even though you think you are so at the bottom of the well that any chink of light must be an hallucination - just believe them. You will feel life again, and you will fall in love again and you will know again that it is possible to feel all the shades, of every emotion, and survive.

I’m not doing Fancy Friday til tomorrow. I’m all worded and image sourced out and I like to think about things for a bit before attempting to put them in to the words that will get my rambling thoughts across. I also want to be sure what those rambling thoughts are, as they have been changing a lot this week - it’s been a very interesting time in my little life.
So I admit defeat. Here is 10, 11 and 12….. 13 will be Fancy Saturday.
Thanks for joining in any way and next Friday 13th I’ll decide to do it BEFORE 1pm that day and have stuff prepared! Or not. I might just ignore this date for ever more. : )

I’ll have more thoughts on the clothes as we get closer to the weekend, but for now, I’m thinking plaits or twisted dreads, 70’s, wedges (yes, I know, but I’m doing it..!) fringing, velour, clear sunglasses, blonde, blonde hair, hats, men’s grey hoodies with the arms cut off, looking generally shady and happy and having fun thoughts in a magical make believe place. *sigh* I love Electric Picnic. it’s insane. In a good way.
The girl in the last photo….I love her hair and glasses. Not sure the outfit would go down so well at EP.

I was wearing the other outfit until this afternoon, when my life became most wonderful. I bought this Urban Outfiters pony t-shirt in a second hand shop for €2.50. Ponies beat wolves. The only way this t-shirt could be any better is if it was a unicorn, in my humble opinion.
When I was in London recently, Nico, from Italy, sang us the theme tune to the Italian version of the cartoon ‘ My Little Pony” It’s IMPOSSIBLE not to sing the chorus over and over again while slightly inebriated. Listen to it and try not to sing it on your next night out. Volaaaa miiio miniiii ponyyy, voolaaa mioo minni ponny VAI!

SHOCKING situation! - call the National Guard - call your favourite Grandmother - spread the dramatic news - I’ve removed the Zara boots. : ) Yes I finally changed them out, as an American might say…
I’m afraid I only went as far as Zara again for these wedges. They don’t sponsor my footwear, but I really wish they would.

I have been thinking about changing my hair colour for some time - I’m going between:
1. Peachy-pink…
2. Go a little sandier.
3 & 4. Go sandy at the roots down to around my ears, stay blonde at the ends and add some length.
5. Apologies for the crap photo - add some length, and go twisted dreads style (not actual dreads…) Definitely doing this for Electric Picnic anyway.. : )

Not sure how demented it will look but sure, why not! I wish Jessica Simpson’s ridiculously high shoes above were available internationally though. When I tried to say this to Laura earlier, I accidently said ‘I wish Jessica would deliver her shoes internationally.’ I know a couple of gentlemen who would order continuously if that was actually the case.
